Pet's Weight Dosage
To be taken twice daily. All NHV supplements are designed to be used together, and can, therefore, be given at once for convenience.

0 - 15 lb = 0.5 ml
16 - 30 lb = 1.0 ml
31 - 45 lb = 1.5 ml
46 - 60 lb = 2.0 ml
61 - 75 lb = 2.5 ml
Over 75 lb = 3.0 ml
For small animals (rabbits, ferrets), avians and reptiles use 1 drop for every 2 lb of body weight.
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.

My pets gums seem pale, could this be anemia?
If your pet's gums or nose are noticeably paler than usual, it is important you see your veterinarian as soon as possible. This is a potential sign of anemia, which can be serious.
What is anemia?
Anemia is a low red blood cell count. The blood is made up of different parts, red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma. Plasma is the liquid that the cells are carried in. With anemia, the number of red cells in the blood is low. In general, blood should contain 35-45% red cells. One major function of these cells is to carry oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body. When the red cell count is low, the body does not easily receive the oxygen needed.
What causes anemia?
Anemia can be caused by a number of factors. Kidney disease can lead to anemia, because the kidneys play a vital role in producing red blood cells. Autoimmune conditions can cause anemia, when the body attacks and damages its own red cells. Toxins can cause anemia by damaging red blood cells...and much more. If you suspect your pet is anemic, it is very important to have them seen by your veterinarian as soon as possible.
Is this supplement a cure for anemia?
Anemia can be caused by many different factors. This is not an overall cure for anemia, but it can help support the body and stimulate the creation of red blood cells. It is extremely important to also address the underlying cause of the anemia.
