Types of Lice on Cats and Dogs
There are two major kinds of lice:

Dosage
Pet's Weight Dosage
To be taken twice daily. All NHV supplements are designed to be used together, and can, therefore, be given at once for convenience.
Select your pet's weight to determine the correct dose.
INULIN PK, MILK THISTLE DOSAGE : To be taken twice daily. Determine your pet’s weight and then use the easy chart below to determine the correct dose. This is the minimum dosage.
Pet's Weight Dosage
0 - 15 lb = 0.5 ml
16 - 30 lb = 1.0 ml
31 - 45 lb = 1.5 ml
46 - 60 lb = 2.0 ml
61 - 75 lb = 2.5 ml
Over 75 lb = 3.0 ml
For small animals (rabbits, ferrets), avians and reptiles use 1 drop for every 2 lb of body weight.
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.
Product Storage
All NHV Natural Pet Products are pure herbal extracts and contain no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring. Shelf life after opening is 6 months and must be refrigerated after opening.

How to Administer
Topical Spray: Spray several times a day as need. It may some times be necessary to shave or trim your pet’s hair so that the Target spray reaches the affected area.

FAQ
How do you get rid of cat and dog lice?
Besides using natural supplements like those in our Lice Detox Kit and Lice Essential Kit to help, conventional mediation is also necessary.
Opt for shampoos that have pyrethrins or organophosphates in them. They are great at eliminating external dog parasites and external parasites in cats. You may also use topical insecticides prescribed by the veterinarian and apply them on your furkid every two weeks.
Can dog lice spread to humans?
No, they cannot.
Lice on dogs and cats are very picky and loyal when it comes to choosing a host. So they only pick one species to infest and stick to that. If they’re on your pup, they will only stick to making a home out of other dogs.
How do you know if your pet has lice?
You might notice your furkid’s coat looks dry and dull. They may constantly be scratching or even biting and rubbing the infected areas. If your little one is infested with blood-sucking lice, you may notice minor wounds on their body.
How do I clean my house after cat lice?
After taking your kitty to the vet to handle the lice problem, throw all your blankets and bedding into the washing machine and wash them in soapy hot water. You will also need to vacuum your place thoroughly and disinfect the furniture.
