How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.

What is a heart murmur in dogs?
A dog heart has four chambers – two atria and two ventricles. Blood first enters into the right atrium then passes through a valve into the right ventricle. From there, the blood goes through the pulmonic valve and into the lungs to be oxygenated. The freshly oxygenated blood then enters the left atrium, then passes through a valve into the left ventricle, which then goes to the rest of the body.
The purpose of each valve is to keep the blood moving forwards but if a valve does not open ort close properly, there will be a disturbance in blood flow and your vet will heart a murmur.
What causes heart murmurs in dogs?
Heart murmurs in dogs can either be congenital (inherited) or acquired (develop later in life). With an acquired heart murmur, the most common cause is the mitral valve has problems opening or closing. There are a variety of causes such as disease, aging, or stress.
Heart failure is more common in small breeds like Boston Terriers, Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, Papillon, etc.
Can stress cause a heart murmur in cats?
Potentially. Prolonged stress can have extremely negative effects on a cat’s cardiovascular system. An increase in stress means an increase in cortisol levels which can elevate blood pressure, increase heart rate and put more strain on the heart.
