Did you know that over 10% of animals have some form of cardiovascular disease; or that congestive heart failure (mitral valve issues) affect 20-40% of dogs? The cardiovascular system of your dog is made up of the heart, artery, and veins. The three most common heart health issues with dogs are chronic heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure. This vet approved, vet formulated all natural herbal supplement is both gentle and powerful. It has been just 2 weeks since I've given Hearty-Heart to my 13 year old doggie. He has suffered from Stage C of Heart failure for over an year so that his cough could been usually observed. But after we started this remedy, he rarely coughs and looks so good and comfortable. I hope the more he takes, the better. *

We've had great results with Heart-Heart! Our (approximately) 12-to-13 year-old rescue Border Collie Jake was diagnosed with a Grade 3 systolic heart murmur during his annual check-up in October of 2016. I researched quite a few options of treatment, and decided to give NHV's Hearty-Heart a try. Within a short time, Jake seemed to be panting less, and his cough almost completely disappeared! He has good energy, and rarely skips meals now. His back-end muscle weakness is noticeably better, too. I truly believe NHV gets the credit, because the only time it seems we hear him cough is if we've missed a dose of Hearty-Heart. The first 6 years of his life were rough from what we know - chained outside in northern Illinois with little shelter and heaven-only-knows what kind of food and care. His foster Mom nursed him back to better health, and we've now had him almost 6 years. He's big for a BC, averaging around 55 pounds. He gets regular veterinary care and great food. We're looking forward to his next check-up to see if we've held the murmur at 3, or if maybe even reversed it! Thanks so much, NHV! Judy, Doug and Jake Reynolds *

I have used hearty heart for the last 2 years as part of the protocol for my 14 year old dog, Scout, who was diagnosed with heart disease. These products were recommended to be used with his prescriptions by his vet and I believe they have really helped him. Would definitely recommend! *

I give this to my 13.5 year old Boston Terrier twice a day who was diagnosed with CHF and arrhythmia 6 months ago. Her most worrisome symptom from heart disease was syncope. Late at night Asta would fall over, arch her back, moan loudly in distress, blank out, then pee on herself. These episodes are significantly less severe and frequent since hearty heart. Instead of every 2-3 wks she's only had two attacks in the past 3 months. One of the attacks also coincided with missing her evening dose. Asta has also been on enalapril and lasix prior to hearty heart but those meds didn't seem to have the same positive results. *

I can't even tell you how incredible this stuff works. My dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur A few years ago & because of his age they told me he wouldn't live long. Well it's been 2 years since his diagnosis & he's still going strong but I could tell he was starting to feel the effects. His cough was getting worse, he was increasingly uncomfortable at night & pacing, breathing heavy especially after getting up or with a little bit of activity. It hurt me to see him that way & I didn't want to take him to the vet where they would tell me it's time to let him go. So I found this stuff, read the reviews & it is EVERYTHING everyone says it is. My sweet oldie is not struggling to breathe anymore, he doesn't pace at night & the cough is nearly gone. Not to mention he has perked up & is so much more alert. This amazing stuff gave me my dog back & I hope to have more good years with the best dog on this planet! Thank you!!!! *

I have an older shepherd who'd been suffering with all the symptoms of congestive heart failure (coughing, low energy, muscle weakness) and I thought I'd try this (I am not usually in favor of pharmaceutical drugs since they fix one problem while causing another usually). Anyway, this has been a godsend for my Charley. He had gotten so bad he couldn't go for a walk and could barely get down my front steps to pee. With him only on Hearty Heart for 1 month, he's made amazing progress. He seems happy again, eating well again, can take normal walks again (albeit slow), and his hacking, heavy breathing has reduced greatly. I give the herbs to him in a bowl of milk with a raw egg beat into it twice a day or more if he needs it. This combination has brought my dog renewed life and bought us more time with him and I'm eternally grateful for coming upon this product. Shipping was super fast too (got to me in 2 days). *

This product has tremendously helped my 13 1/2 yr old poodle with her screeching cough. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and her enlarged heart irritated her trachea. When the vet put her on a narcotic cough medicine, she vomited for 3 days. SInce I already was using Hearty Heart, (which by the way has my little dog acting playful and happy again), I decided to return to your site to see if something could help her persistent cough. Thankfully, I found this respiratory aid/cough medicine to try. Your staff thought the respiratory aid would help her trachea irritation. She has been on this respiratory aid for 3 weeks and I see a huge improvement. We now all have peaceful nights of sleep without coughing spells! *

Rocket & Emily - Kansas | April 23, 2015

I have two older dogs. Rocket is 13 and weighs 80 lbs. Emily is 15 and weighs 15 lbs. Rocket started having fainting spells, which is known in the boxer breed. He is part collie and part boxer. After taking him to the vet, I started looking for some home remedies or herbal remedies for Rocket. Emily is very overweight for her breed and has developed a cough with heavy breathing after excertion. So when I came across Hearty Heart, I thought this would be good for both dogs. I orderd some and started giving it to both of them. Their enegry level went up, they are both eating and drinking on a regular basis and seem to be doing very well. I am very pleased with Hearty Heart and will be ordering more. I would and will highly recommend this product to my friends and family!! *

Oscar - USA | April 16, 2015

My 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel developed a heart murmur 1 year ago. He started having a cough related to his heart being enlarged and pressing on his trachea. After switching vets and being told he had a Stage 4-5 heart murmur (but not CHF) he put him on a low dose of lasix and also low dose Benazepril, also telling me to give him Tussigon if he was coughing a lot. Oscar was still occasionally coughing so I started looking for other natural alternatives online. I came across Hearty Heart I purchased it, then decided I would take it to my vet (assuming he would tell me it wouldn't really help). He looked at the bottle & ingredients and encouraged me to try it along with his current prescription drugs, incidentally telling me he wasn't really in favor of drugs (he's European) and was already giving him much lower doses than he should actually receive. It's been a little over a month and Oscar is rarely coughing (I suddenly realized I haven't given him a cough tablet in over 2 weeks) and is energetic and back to his normal self. Very pleased with this product! Highly recommend (and also recommend consulting with your vet prior to usage). *

I use Hearty Heart 2 times a day for my 8 yr old Chorkie with stage 5 heart murmur. It took a week to kick in but when it did he lost his belly bloat and became alot more alert and active! He runs, plays and acts like a healthier pet! After talking to my vet about 'human' heart meds for his final stages I refused to pump chemicals into his tiny body. I'm very happy with the results and Peanuts seems to be too! He's a very picky eater and doesnt mind the flavor at all! I cant wait for his next check up! Thank you Hearty Heart!!! *

Millie - Ohio | May 16, 2013

Millie is a 12 year old Chinese Crested. In January of 2012 she developed an awful cough. she was restless, her breathing was labored and she kept us up all night coughing & pacing . The vet said it was her heart. He tried 2 different medications but they did not help. So, I ordered Hearty Heart and WOW, within a couple of weeks NO more coughing. She is back to her normal self. She acts like she did 5 years ago, she plays with the other dogs and sleeps through the night.I do not have any trouble giving it to her. First thing when she gets up, she goes to the refrigerator sits and waits for me to give it to her. It is like she knows that is what has made her better. I would recommend this to anyone who has a dog with heart problems . THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING US OUR MILLIE BACK! *

S. Church - Connecticut | May 16, 2013

My 10 year old mini schnauzer was diagnosed with a heart murmur last year of a 3-4 (on the scale of 1-6) Six being the worst. Then two months ago the same vet found that the murmur had worsened to a level 5-6. I started him on Hearty Heart, which he has been on for 7 weeks, with vitamin E, raw meat and veggie diet.
Yesterday I took him to the vet for a check up. His heart is much stronger and the murmur is at a 4. I am so grateful. *
