Supraglan

To be taken twice daily. All NHV supplements are designed to be used together, and can, therefore, be given at once for convenience.

For small animals (rabbits, ferrets), avians and reptiles use 1 drop for every 2 lb of body weight.
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.
For Best Results
Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.

FAQ
What is the difference between cushing's syndrome and cushing's disease?
In Cushing’s syndrome, there is an abundance of cortisol which can come from inside or outside of the body. For example, it may develop from using corticosteroid medications like prednisone. Or it can become triggered by a tumor in the adrenal or pituitary gland causing the body to make too much cortisol.
Cushing’s disease is a specific variety of Cushing’s syndrome and comes about when a pituitary tumor stimulates the release of too much cortisol.
Is Cushing syndrome the same as adrenal insufficiency?
No. Cushing’s syndrome is when the body has an excess of cortisol whereas adrenal insufficiency is when there is a lack of cortisol and aldosterone, ie. Addison’s disease.

Is too much Milk Thistle bad for pets?
Too much of anything is bad for our pets (and for us). We would not suggest putting your pet on Milk Thistle unless they have a liver issue. For any pet pawrents who are interested in administering NHV Milk Thistle to their little one, just make sure they are not already taking a vet-prescribed medication with Milk Thistle in the ingredients list. It is best not to double up on the same ingredient!
