Cats may be prone to eye infections that cause discomfort and long-term damage if left untreated. Ey Eas helps cats with eyes that are red, cloudy, or bulging. It is also helpful for cats that are continually rubbing their eyes, tearing excessively, or avoiding light. Conjunctivitis can occur in one or both eyes and is most often the result of a bacterial or viral infection. Other possible causes include allergies, irritants, fungal infections, and injuries. If only one eye is affected then it may be an inflamed tear duct or a foreign object causing the problem. Do not use with existing corneal ulcers.

faq

Do I put this directly in my cats eye or in his food?

Ey Eas works best when applied topically directly to the eye. Some pets may not tolerate this, so giving Eye Eas in the food is an acceptable alternative.

Does this sting?

Ey Eas is very gentle and should not cause stinging. Some pets are a little bit adverse to drops being put in their eye, and Ey Eas is a bit sticky, so you may notice a small amount of head shaking and paw rubbing in the first few seconds after application.

Can this be used for my cat's corneal ulcer?

No. If your cat has an existing corneal ulcer it is important that you not put anything into the eye except for veterinary approved medications. This could cause further damage to the eye.

Can my cats get pink eye from my dog?

Conjunctivitis, or "pink eye" is often caused by a bacterial infection. Though these infections are technically contagious, it would generally require very close contact to be passed between pets.
