The Rottweiler is one of the more recognizable breeds in the world with his large head, solidly muscled body, and distinctively handsome black-and-tan markings. He is intelligent, strong, and loyal. They typically weigh between 85 to 130 pounds. Properly socialized Rottweilers are calm, confident, and courageous, never shy. They have a self-assured aloofness and don't make friends with people immediately. Instead, they take a wait-and-see attitude with new people or situations.
