Old Timer
- Alfalfa contains rich levels of protein, vitamins, amino acids, minerals and fiber which all contribute to the strength and maintenance of joints, and many other body processes.
- Asian ginseng has been used for centuries to help revitalize the body, help shield the body from stress, and help improve strength and endurance.
- Astragalus contains a rich source of antioxidants that may help protect the body against stress and help support immune system function.
- Cayenne contains an active compound called capsaicin, which helps to relieve discomfort and helps to improve circulation to the outer limbs.
- Ginger has calming properties to help improve circulation, help reduce nausea, and help to relieve discomfort.
- Guggul is made from the resin of the myrrh tree. It has a long history of use in combination with other herbs to help reduce joint inflammation, support the nervous system and healthy skin.
Yucca
- Yucca root contains sarsasapogenin and smilagenin which are beneficial for enhancing absorption, helping to reduce joint inflammation and helping to rebalance the immune system. It is also a very nutrient rich superfood.
Turmeric

Pet's Weight Dosage
To be taken twice daily. All NHV supplements are designed to be used together, and can, therefore, be given at once for convenience.

16 - 30 lb = 1.0 ml
31 - 45 lb = 1.5 ml
46 - 60 lb = 2.0 ml
61 - 75 lb = 2.5 ml
Over 75 lb = 3.0 ml
For small animals (rabbits, ferrets), avians and reptiles use 1 drop for every 2 lb of body weight.
How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.

Herbal dietary supplements are beneficial to the health and well-being of your pet and are safe for long-term use. Every pet responds to natural herbal supplements differently, therefore it is important to be consistent and administer the product daily. Supplements generally take two to four weeks to take effect, however this will vary from one animal to the next.

What is the best joint supplement for dogs?
To help maintain your pup’s joint health, we recommend Old Timer, Yucca and Turmeric. Herbs like guggul, ginger and Asian ginseng are beneficial for helping to soothe inflamed joints and helping to improve energy levels. Yucca and turmeric are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that are beneficial for inflamed joints and for helping to lower harmful cholesterol levels.

Can I give my dog human turmeric capsules?
We do not recommend adding human turmeric capsules to your dog’s meals because it will be too strong for your pet and may cause liver damage. On its own, turmeric is not bioavailable for your pet, and must be combined with another ingredient to allow the benefits to be absorbed by your furkiddo. Typically, black pepper is used.
